"My hunch is that B&N never really embraced the Internet or e-books, tied as it was to the old-fashioned world of physical books and stores. As B&N focused on managing decline, a much more nimble Amazon could concentrate exclusively on the new world it was forming. B&N needed to destroy its business model to prevail. Now it is probably too late. There is a lesson for all businesses here."How Barnes & Noble fell so far so fast
I never liked Barnes & Noble, not because it sold actual books, but because its prices were always higher than Amazon or Borders. But there is nothing old-fashioned about real books. Nothing beats the feeling of holding a book in your hand and flipping through the pages, getting into the story. The structure of e-books today are built after the images of real books after all. When I read today that books are so called "old-fashioned" I really felt my 22 years of age, down to the very last page.
An Iowa egg producer is recalling 228 million eggs after being linked to an outbreak of salmonella poisoning.
The eggs were distributed around the country and packaged under the names Lucerne, Albertson, Mountain Dairy, Ralph's, Boomsma's, Sunshine, Hillandale, Trafficanda, Farm Fresh, Shoreland, Lund, Dutch Farms and Kemp.
We shall all have to put aside our cravings for a while.
This is a special coverage on some videos I made on NYC!
A rather interesting video of Richard Feynman sharing some of his childhood recollections in an interview.

It's come to my attention that on the last layout (Spiderman) you could not post comments. The new layout features Zach, from Final Fantasy 7!
So today, after a long very tiring run outside, I came back into the gym to cool off, stretch, do some sit-ups, you know...the good stuff. Usually when I go there's some people running on the treadmill which is usually opposite the area where I do sit-ups and so I am able to watch what's going on behind me while facing the other direction as that's what mirrors usually allow you to do. While I was in the middle of doing some sit-ups and I'm like "Wow, this is really tiring." I do something like what's going on at around 1:05 in the following video:
Just cause I'm tired. In the corner of my eye, I see this girl on the elliptical give me such a strange look and yet her look said it all. It was a 5% amusement and 45% horrid fascination 50% completely disgusted look. I nearly laughed at her. So now, I will watch my facial expressions when I am completely exhausted, so other people can look at me normally.
P.S. This video is a practice of the original movie I was going to do. If I feel nice, I might publish the script later.
